Class times and dates can be found in my monthly newsletter. I travel most months teaching and vending at various basket conventions and retreats so, unfortunately classes at this time are limited in my shop. If you are interested in a class other than the days listed, just gather up 4-12 friends and call me to schedule it. I will do my best to make it happen!
If for some reason you can’t make it to class, please let me know as soon as possible so I can fill your spot and so that I am not waiting on you. I do realize that emergencies happen. There are times I have a waiting list, so your consideration is much appreciated.
Pre-registration is required since class space is limited to 12 people. You can pre-pay for the class or pay the day of the class. If you are a “no show/no call” you will be required to pre-pay for all future classes. If it is an open weave a deposit of $20 will be required.
This should be a fun, learning experience and for that reason, leave the kids at home. You may be able to weave with your children nearby, but it is unfair to others who can’t. Consider this “mom’s or dad’s night/day out”. Unless it is a private class, the minimum age is 14 years old.
Registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis. Pre-payment ensures your space in class. If you must cancel, you will be given your class kit. No refunds will be given.
No need to bring anything, just yourself. I have scissors, buckets, tools, etc. Dress for a mess! In basket weaving we use water and dyed reed, which can sometimes “bleed”. You will leave with your basket unstained, however I do provide a tip sheet on staining techniques and we will go over it in class.
What is an “Open Weave”? An Open Weave is where you come pick out a kit and I guide you through the weaving process. Kits vary in availability and price and I am always creating new kits! If you would like a list of current kits available, just contact me. Open weaves are for my kits only – thank you for your understanding. Pre-registration is required due to space limitations.
A check can be mailed or for your convenience. I accept credit cards through Paypal (You do not have to have a Paypal account to use this.)
